02 · Work Experience

Where I've worked.

Missile Systems Engineering Intern
Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Lab · Defense
At Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory, I will be working in System Modeling, Evaluation, and Planning, where I will apply my background in physics and engineering to complex defense and flight analysis problems. In this role, I will work closely with systems engineers on modeling, simulation, navigation accuracy while contributing to technically rigorous, multidisciplinary projects.
Research Assistant
Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University · Daytona Beach, FL
Modernizing a spectrometer with and FPGA(Feild Programmable Gate Array), using Verilog. This project will transform into the study of nanomaterials, and quantum dots. I am also studying quantum optics, and electro-optics. This research also includes invite-only lectures with multiple professors at ERAU investigating quantum materials.
Woman's Ambassador
Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University · Daytona Beach, FL
Represent the female population at ERAU in national recruitment settings, by communicating STEM programs, research opportunities, and career pathways to prospective students. Execute professional outreach and recruitment initiatives through technical communication and public speaking, strengthening leadership, and institutional brand representation.
Chief Financial Officer
Embler Control Systems · Aerospace Hardware Startup
Undergraduate aerospace hardware company building the SAMSARA data recorder — a flight data system for classrooms, hobbyists, and researchers. Also developing Hyperion, a university-level research instrument.
03 · Leadership

How I lead.

Engineering Physics Representative
Physical Sciences Dept. · Embry-Riddle
Advocating for students pursuing the rigorous Engineering Physics program and ensuring that prospective students are informed of this exceptional program. Coordinating events for students and professors to foster social interaction and build connections beyond the classroom.

Plasma Jets Using Magnetospheric MultiScale Satellites
This project aims to understand plasma jet events that occur during northward interplanetary magnetic field (IMF) conditions. Northward IMF jet events are far less studied than their southern counterparts. The study uses data from NASA's Magnetospheric Multiscale (MMS) mission, a constellation of four spacecraft that study magnetic reconnection at Earth's magnetosphere boundary.

07 · Advocacy

Why it matters.

01
Women in Aerospace
Less than 14% of the aerospace workforce is women. I work to change that number by showing up, building things, and making space for those who come after me.
Aerospace
02
Women in Physics
Physics is one of the least gender-diverse STEM fields. Pursuing space physics as a woman is itself an act of advocacy. The universe doesn't care who studies it — and neither should anyone else.
Physics
03
The Next Generation
Girls who see women building missiles, founding startups, and studying plasma physics know it's possible. Representation is infrastructure. I'm here to be part of it.
